The Heavy Fly Pokemon: These Pokemon live half of their life burrowing deep underground, tempering their bodies and wings for the surface. Despite their weight, Butterbloks can fly as easily as a Beedrill, though much slower. Because of their hard, tempered exterior, Butterbloks have no natural predators when they get above the surface. While underground, however, Onix, Gigalith, Steelix, and Graveler often feast on their still-developing bodies.
In combat, Butterbloks will fly high in the air, then stop flying to slam down onto the ground with devastating force, and will then spit a stream of gravel into their opponent's face. This is often effective for escapes, despite their slow, languid speed. These Pokemon like to feed on Geodude and wounded Boldore, as a sort of ironic revenge.
